We continue to follow the guidance from our professional registers in regards to all our working practices.
We are able to offer clients a choice of face-to-face, online, or telephone counselling and psychotherapy. We want clients to be able to make use of our services in a way that works best for them. Our counsellors will discuss the most appropriate method of counselling with each client to find a good way to attend counselling appointments.

Counselling and Psychotherapy

You may be looking for support for yourself, a member of your household, or an employee in your business.  It may be that support is needed with past or current issues that have affected life, or it may be a struggle with what the future might hold.  Some might feel unable to talk to those close by about the things that are causing concern.  You might not be sure what counselling can offer, and you may be curious to find out more.

We offer both open-ended and time-limited counselling to match the needs of our clients and their situations.  Our therapists have experience of working with a wide range of issues, including but not limited to: trauma, health and illness, abuse, affairs and betrayals, bereavement, grief, bullying, workplace problems, redundancy, anxiety, depression, loneliness, self harm, relationship issues, family issues, separation and divorce, low self confidence, self-esteem issues, identity, sexuality, spirituality, stress, suicidal thoughts, retirement, and work related stress.

Compass Point

Compass Point is a counselling service based in Ross on Wye, providing counselling and psychotherapy to individualscouples, and businesses, and supervision to counsellors and therapists.  Our psychodynamic therapists have many years experience of working with people who bring a wide range of issues.  Our founders and management team are both therapists accredited by, and registered with, the British Psychoanalytic Council BPCand all of our counsellors are registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists BACP.  Both BPC and BACP are Accredited Registers with the Professional Standards Authority.  Our team bring together many decades of experience of working with individuals, couples, families, and groups, in health, education, and supervisory environments, using face-to-face, online and phone appointments.

Compass Point is registered with the Information Comissioner’s Office ICO.
